Pitbulls were developed in the UK in the early 19th century mainly for fighting. English bulldogs and Terriers where bred together to create this breed of dog who are most commonly known for being "viscous" and "killers". However, anyone who actually owns a pitbull in this century will argue that they are the sweetest, most loving dogs. Most dog owners of any breed will agree that dogs, same as children, will be as sweet or as mean as they are raised.
